Creating jewelry became a part of my life very early on. I would take apart my grandmother’s old brooches, string beads and seeds on wires and make bracelets from fishing hooks. Not only is jewelry a finishing touch to an outfit, it makes a statement, it tells a story and sets a mood. My inspiration is literally the beauty of the gemstones themselves. Their rich colors and shapes are begging to be worn, displayed and admired. Architecture, nature and sometimes just the stones themselves inspire me.
Jewelry design and metalsmithing have allowed me a creative outlet stemming from a background in interior design. Each one of kind design represents a small piece of art; each containing its own meaning…. their own little piece of me and the wearer.
I hope you will love its beauty and workmanship as much I did in creating each piece.
